#054. Snow Angels

Snow Angels by Erin Aumack

I like this one, I really do. It was one of my first attempts at the WOTG (Workshops On The Go) program with CTMH, and I fell in love with them. It's take me a while to finish it, but there it is.

All supplies are CTMH.

#053. San Antonio River Walk

San Antonio River Walk by Erin Aumack

This is another not so liked one. It was awesome, until I hand journalled across the bottom of the right hand page without first drawing journalling lines. So I covered it up, and re-did it on the blue paper, but forgot the lines. I think, however, I learned my lesson: always draw guide lines.....

All Supplies are from the CTMH Miracle Kit.

#052. Stuck

Stuck by Erin Aumack

Okay, I hate this one. It so did not turn out how I intended. I did learn a few things though: regular ink does not go over pigment ink very well, and never try to edge chipboard with a marker, it just doesn't work. You see, what happened was, I wanted the letters to be white with just a little pop of color on the edges. But I'm not so good with the marker, which missed the edge a couple of times. So then I tried putting white pigment ink over the mistake, which made it worse. Then I colored over them. I should have just done something different, but I had already invested the effort into the crappy looking letters. So although this is a really ugly layout, I'm determined to still put it in the album. I think. Maybe.

Supplies: Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye, Cardstock, chipboard, ink, paper flowers, sparkles: CTMH.

#051. Swim 2010

Swim 2010 by Erin Aumack

I wanted something to remember their first swimming lessons with, so I attached this layout to a 12x12 True Fit Folio, essentially a file folder. Inside it, I put their little report cards from their first swimming lessons. They didn't match the color scheme, but this is a great way to keep them. I also really liked the red glitter letters, it really pops the red boat they are playing with.

All supplies CTMH except for the Thickers Glitter Alpha Stickers.

#050. No Rules

No Rules by Erin Aumack

This one is from the Caboodle WOTG. It's an interesting color combo, but I like how it's fun and playful.

All supplies are CTMH.

#049. Together is the best place to be

Together is the best place to be by Erin Aumack

Can you tell I'm in finish up mode? This one as well is from the Topstitch WOTG. Just some random shots from our road trip. I don't know if I like it.

All supplies CTMH.

#048. Her Blankie

Her Blankie by Erin Aumack

This was a layout from the Topstitch WOTG, and I also love how this one turned out. Let me tell you, it was an awful bedtime experience in the hotel in Houston, but after she finally conked out, she was so adorable.

All supplies CTMH except for the glitter alphas, they are from Making Memories and the Thickers alpha stickers.

#047. Self Portrait

Self Portrait by Erin Aumack

I totally love how this one turned out. I wasn't sure about the Autumn Terracotta cardstock, but I think it works with the blue and turquoise. Plus I got to use up some ribbon that was hanging around, and that really cute pretend mustache.

Supplies used: Cardstock, ink, badge button accents: CTMH; Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye; Chipboard alphas, heart: Basic Grey and Thickers; ribbon, brads: unknown.

#045. Island Beauty

Island Beauty by Erin Aumack

When I first created this layout, I left the title out because I couldn't decide on something. But then I came across these fabulous glittery letters from my LSS. I love them. They totally made the layout pop out.

Digital Layout: Studio J; Thickers Alpha Stickers.

#044. Pacific Evening

Pacific Evening by Erin Aumack

I got a chance to catch up on a trip from 5 years ago to Hawaii. It was easy to just drag and drop the photos into the Studio J software. I also added some stamped embellishments.

All supplies CTMH.

#043. Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage by Erin Aumack

Here's another Studio J layout, with a little extra embellishments. I like how the additional brads give it the extra pop.

All supplies CTMH.

Mario Kitty by Erin Aumack

More of the psycho cat. She's a gamer....

Supplies ~ Cardstock, ribbon, ink: CTMH; Patterned paper: October Afternoon; Thickers alpha stickers, Doodlebug Design brads.

#041. Wet Pet...

Wet Pet by Erin Aumack

Our cat is weird. Like really weird. She got into the bubble bath before the kids could, and jumped out real quick. And she was soggy. And wet. I couldn't help recall one of the silly poems by Dr. Seuss from One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. It fit perfectly.

Patterned paper, epoxy stickers: SEI; Thickers Alpha Stickers, unknown cardstock.

#040. Alberta Bound

Alberta Bound by Erin Aumack

We went on a two week road trip last winter, all the way from Houston, TX to Okotoks, AB. I took a photo through the windshield every time the topography changed, to document our trip home. I was inspired by an article in the Summer Canadian Scrapbooker magazine by the Paul Brandt song "Alberta Bound". And this is what came about. I love it, I was able to use up those super cute chipboard trees from Maya Road.

All supplies CTMH except the chipboard trees, which are from Maya Road.

#039. Snow Dog

Snow Dog by Erin Aumack

My dog is hilarious. She loves the snow, what a goof!

All supplies are CTMH (Aspen Paper Packet and Stickease).

A Thousand Apologies....

Okay, so now I have to eat some crow. I am so sorry for neglecting my blog, and the 2010 Layout Challenge. I am still here! It's been crazy, but I'm back. I'm trying to finish up some more layouts today, so look for them soon. I have a whole stack of them that are either missing a title, journaling or that perfect embellishment. I do feel good, however, that the layouts for this months workshop (tonight...) are complete with journaling for the first time ever, I think! I do promise to be more regular with the blogging thing.....oh, and have you seen the weather? We have three inches at least of snow. On May 28. Three days from June. It's disgusting. I think I need to take a couple photos and scrap them this afternoon! Have a great day, and happy scrapping!
