Top Ten Reason's I don't want to work today!

Here goes:

1. It's snowing.
2. It's almost dark.
3. I really didn't want to get out of my jammies yet.
4. I want to scrapbook, because I just cleaned my scrap room.
5. It's cold outside. And I don't want to go out there.
6. I'll miss bedtime. And it really shouldn't bother me, because I miss it twice a week regularly. But it does bother me.
7. My hubby will be asleep before I get home. And he gets grumpy when I have to wake him up for a kiss.
8. Because I don't want to?
9. Did I mention scrapbooking?
10. Because wasting time on Facebook is so much more fun!

Have a good monday!

Layout #005

All supplies are CTMH, except for the paw print. That was Fiona's contribution!

Layout #004 January Challenge: Use a Song as your Inspiration

Hidden Journalling

Have you heard this song by Phil Vassar? I just love it, because it is totally about my life! My kids love to be goofy, and they are goofy everyday and I love that about them. Plus I really wanted to use this tropical themed paper for an everyday subject, like craziness!!
All supplies CTMH except the red glitter stickers are Making Memories.

003.

I just love these two photos of my father and my grandfather. I caught them at a family get together having snoozes (but you know, "they weren't really sleeping, just resting their eyes..." Yeah, they were sleeping!) about 45 minutes apart. I'm really happy with how this turned out.
All supplies are CTMH.

Layout #002

All supplies are CTMH except the orange ribbon, it's American Crafts.

Top Ten

So it's time for the first Top Ten of 2010:

Top Ten Reasons I am glad to be home!

1. My very own bed: there's nothing quite like it...
2. Eating real food: I can only handle eating out so much. After that, I'm done.
3. Starting Weight Watchers again: I gained 5 lbs on the trip to Texas, it needs to go...
4. The kids are back in their own rooms: And my daughter snores, talks in her sleep, and my son yells in his sleep. Talk about sleep disturbance!
5. Being able to do a full load of laundry: Have you ever washed anything in a hotel bathroom sink?
6. Routine: That says it all!
7. I want to play with all my new scrapbooking supplies!: I've been creatively deprived..... (well, not that much, I went and bought a trimmer and some basics so that I could scrap while I was away!)
8. I missed my animals! : Poor Fiona the cat, we came home with my parents dog, and she won't come down from the shower curtain rod in the bathroom!
9. Being able to have a jammy day: Well, I guess that ones for the kids...
10. It was time to come home! : Have you ever been on holidays for too long? I think it was the driving on this trip that did it, 6 days from Houston TX to home!
